Christopher E. Mason, Director
Christopher Mason graduated from Santa Clara University, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, in 1999. Since then, he has consulted for such industry leaders as EarthLink, DHL, Sony, Sun Microsystems, Aon, AT&T, and Toyota. With a background in project management, technical writing, web programming, and graphic design, Mr. Mason led technical and design teams with outside-the-box thinking and saw vital online marketing initiatives to successful completion.
Mr. Mason's innovation and demonstrated expertise in online marketing led Toyota to convert him from consultant to associate. In his several years at Toyota, Mr. Mason was responsible for all content on Toyota.com as well as complex applications such as "Build and Price," vehicle comparison, and dealer locator. He also oversaw search engine optimization for Toyota.com, search engine marketing, metrics reporting, and was involved in bringing mobile websites and apps to market. His guidance through the 2009 "Cash for Clunkers" program and 2010 vehicle recall period was critical to the company; his efforts proved the effectiveness and versatility of the online medium to the highest levels of management.
Mr. Mason sold a successful web design and development agency, Mason Designs, to an investment group in 2009, and subsequently started Romagna Media. In February of 2011, he left the coveted position within Toyota's marketing department in order to develop the new company full-time.
